In collaboration with Manchester Art Gallery, Proud & Loud Arts presents Cells – a body of work – a collection of live art installations created in response to a 140% rise in reported hate crime incidents against people with disabilities.

Cells – A Body Of Work is a live art installation made up of 12 performance art works that explore the experience of living as an individual labelled different. This project is part of National Hate Crime Week will be performed at non-theatre venues across Greater Manchester from September 2016.

These witty and challenging artworks offer a thought provoking and creative glimpse into the extraordinary, exploring the stigma often attached to those who dare to be different.
