Come along to Manchester Art Gallery and taste nibbles and cocktails inspired by the gallery's rooftop garden.
Manchester Art Gallery
Thursday 17 September 2015, 5.30pm–8.30pm
Join us for an evening of all things foody.
All workshop sessions are free, no need to book and everyone is welcome.
Throughout the evening you can purchase afternoon-tea themed cocktails and cake to relax with in our atrium bar. Flavoured with beetroot, gooseberry, courgette and honey, these drinks and nibbles contain produce from our rooftop garden and bee hives. There’ll be a selection of art and food books available for you to browse. And listen out for the foody sound track!

6-8pm – Philosophy Cafe: Should we change what we eat? – Inspired by art on display around the gallery, Philosophy Cafe helps us unpack some of life’s big questions.
6.30-7.30pm – Food and Drink Tour – Curator Kate Jesson takes you on this tour of the gallery highlighting the symbolism and meanings behind food and drink in art.
