Saturday 16 June 2018, 3pm–4pm
Free, booking required
Sonia Boyce’s first retrospective exhibition (until 22 July) includes work from the 1990s onwards, reflecting her turn towards improvised, open-ended ways of working and her fascination with ‘what people do when they come together’. It also includes her new work Six Acts (2018), which was commissioned by Manchester Art Gallery. This talk will be an opportunity to hear Boyce reflect on works in the exhibition and discuss her practice, current interests and projects.
