Re-frame your image in this week's family workshop
Manchester Art Gallery
Tuesday 16 August 2016, 1pm–3pm
Frame, lights, action!
Join us this season in the Clore Art Studio for a super, stylish summer.
This week artist Harriet will be encouraging you to re-frame your own image and experiment with how we represent ourselves. Looking at the manipulation of the photography in the Vogue 100: A Century of Style exhibition, Harriet will encourage the experimentation of filters, frames and light in a ‘live editing’ way. Using different backdrops and including different props to alter the composition, you and your family will be invited to photograph yourselves within your own studio set.
Continue your artistic journey outside the gallery. Search for everyday materials at home which filter, distort or alter your vision when you look through them.
All ages welcome but especially for ages 2-11 with parents or carers.
There will be a quiet room available for children with autism.
All of our sessions are free.
