Building refurbishment

We are currently undertaking conservation work and redeveloping the eastern rooms on the ground floor of Platt Hall. We hope to re-open these in early summer.

Our current temporary exhibition, Mary Quant: Fashion Icon can be found on the ground floor, and in the dining room on the first floor. The permanent displays of 17th, 18th and 19th Century fashion are situated on the first floor

Our revamped shop stocks a wide range of books, postcards and gifts inspired by costume.

We have a pop-up cafe selling delicious coffee, tea, cakes and snacks. And, there’s free WiFi too.
