We are closed on Good Friday 25 March

We are currently undertaking a renovation of one part of the ground floor of Platt Hall to eradicate moth activity, and as a result the 20th Century displays are temporarily closed to visitors.
Our opening times will remain unchanged and the current temporary exhibition, Schiaparelli and Thirties Fashion, will remain open throughout the refurbishment.
We will also retain the first floor permanent exhibitions of 17th , 18th and 19th century fashion and our shop and pop-up cafe. We regret, however, that there will be no specific 20th century costume galleries for the time being.
(26 January 2016)
Our revamped shop stocks a wide range of books, postcards and gifts inspired by costume.
We have a pop-up cafe selling delicious coffee, tea, cakes and snacks. And, there’s free WiFi too.
The Gallery of Costume is on the corner of Wilmslow Road and Platt Lane, in Platt Fields Park, Rusholme, South Manchester.
