Young People’s Engagement Co-ordinator

Platt Hall is currently the focus of an exciting development project, working with local partners and residents to create a new kind of museum and creative space using collections, creativity and culture as a tool for social change in the neighbourhoods of Rusholme, Moss Side, Fallowfield and Longsight.

The new post of Young People’s Engagement Co-ordinator will assess what young people in this neighbourhood need through the development of relationships with youth agencies and other relevant local providers.
We are looking for someone who, working with the wider Platt and Manchester Art Gallery teams, will contribute to improving best practices in youth work and advocate for youth voice in the development of Platt Hall as an inclusive neighbourhood resource.

If you would like any further information about the role, we will be holding an information sharing session online and in person at Platt Hall on Tuesday 12 March. Please contact Liz Mitchell on [email protected] for more details.

Interviews will be at Platt Hall on Wednesday 17 April.
