Public: Coffee can and saucer, bone china, with matt black and white checked covercoat print to cup, and aerograph-sprayed black saucer. Private: Cylindrical coffee can, sides decorated with a chequered pattern of four black covercoat-printed rectangles alternating with four white rectangles, each with a fringed, zig-zag edge down one side. Saucer aerograph-sprayed matt black, reserving rim and cup well in white.
