Summary
Stormy seascape with rugged coastline . A solitary figure runs with arms outstretched. To the left of the picture, in the shadows, lurks a bear with open mouth. Antigonus is running from left to right along the coast of Bohemia towards a rock behind which a mast is visible, chased by a bear. This is the 34th print from Volume 1 of 'A Collection of Prints from Pictures Painted for the Purpose of Illustrating the Dramatic Works of Shakespeare by the Artists of Great Britain (1805)'. It is described as 'Antigonus pusued by a Bear'.
