A young girl sitting on a river bank, with sheep. The girl is facing away from the viewer, toward the river, and is supported by her left arm which stretches out behind her. The girl's hair is in a single plait and she wears a simple sleeveless dress. A crook can be seen to the right. There is one sheep to the right and three to the left.
