Field Flowers
Summary
A vibrant study of a glass vase full of flowers against a light green background. The vase is situated on a surface that is indicated through a deeper blue-green and the shadow of the vase is indicated by a rich blue to the right of the vase. All of the flowers so poppies and corn sheafs are amongst them. They are all boldly and loosely represented using bright primary and secondary colours and they are not arranged formally in the vase as in many other flower-pieces.
