Summary

An elderly couple sat at a table. Both people are facing the viewer from the opposite side of the table. The man is to the right and he has his right arm around the woman's shoulders. With his left hand he is offering the woman a mug. The table is covered with a check tablecloth and there is a bottle of stout on the table to the right. To the left foreground is a tray with a knife on it and to the right is a long tobacco pipe.
