Summary

Two figures walking on a path between foliage and tall trees. The figures are walking away from us and are positioned in the right middle ground. The woman has long, flowing hair and the man hold his right arm behind his back. The style is loose and linear. This print was among a group Matisse made to accompany a new edition of the poetry of Stephane Mallarme in 1932.
