Summary

An abstract composition of irregular blocks of colour arranged vertically. At the top of the composition is an orange oblong with an eye to the right, and two marks which suggest pursed lips on the lower left edge of it. Directly below this shape is a pink oblong, which directly mirrors the one above but is slightly smaller. This suggests the heads of the 'Mother and Child' mentioned in the title. Further down the composition are grey and purple shapes. A white outline encases many of the shapes and the background is printed black.
