Summary

Landscape with river in middle ground centre stretching straight out into the distance and a many arched bridge. The river is lined with trees. A classical style round building supported by columns is in the middle ground on the right situated on the banks of the river. In the foreground on the left of the river bank a figure is lying down beside goats. In the foreground cente, a figure facing to the left in a boat leans forward holding sticks in both hands. In the foreground right, a figure sits under a tree. Foliage and rocks in foreground. Mountains in the distance. Sun is low in the sky.
