Summary

Two single masted sail boats at sea just off the coast. The nearest boat has a large cargo covered with tarpaulin and a small rowing boat tied up beside it. There are three figures in the stern of the boat. The second boat is behind and to the left. There are figures to the stern and right side. The coastline can be seen to the right with gulls hovering over moored boats. There are rocks in the water to the bottom right corner foreground and a gull flying low over the water at the centre right foreground.
