Summary

A double image, divided at the centre by a dark curtain. To the right a young woman is seated at a table holding the mouthpiece of a telephone like instrument to her face. The instrument has a mouthpiece attached to a central support, on the other side of which is a reflecting dish with a candle in front of it to the left. On the left a young man is kneeling on a chair in front of a desk. He is also holding the mouthpiece of an instrument identical to that in the right hand image.
