Summary

Crucifixion scene with soldiers on horseback to background left and right of the cross. A group of figures surrounds the foot of the cross; a man standing to the left, with a second man stooped beside him and supporting a fainting woman. A second woman is sitting to the right with her head in her hands. A third man can be seen between the cross and the man standing to the left.
