Peter De Wint 1784 - 1849

Summary

A harvest field landscape. Across the field there are sheaves of corn stacked together and groups of people. To the right there is a man standing beside a white horse with a child standing to the left and two figures behind and to the left. A jug and a pitchfork, amongst other objects, can be seen on the ground at the centre left foreground. There are figures to the left midground, some bending over and some standing upright. The landscape is flat with an expanse of sky.
