Summary
A stormy coastal scene with the sea to the foreground and a church on the headland to the upper centre background. A group of men are pushing a small rowing boat into the waves at the lower left foreground. A shipwreck can be seen on the distant horizon to the left and there is wreckage in the shallow waves at the lower right.
