Summary
A mountain pass with a village church at the centre midground and a narrow river gorge to the right. A group of people and animals can be seen at the lower left foreground, on a road which winds upwards through the village. There is a church surrounded by smaller buildings on raised outcrop at the centre midground. The ground rises to the right of these buildings. There is a mountain range in the background and the sky above appears stormy.
