Summary
Landscape with a view of a drum tower with crenulations and decorated with a frieze of laurels in the centre middle ground, and ruined buildings either side. A man and a woman seated upon a donkey are travelling along a road way which leads into the distance from the foreground. There is a double arched bridge over a river in the middle ground to the left and hills beyond. A lone figure is sat by the road side in the foreground to the right.
