Summary

Small ovoid vase with narrow, slightly concave foot, wide mouth with thick flaring rim. Exterior decorated with wide incised horizontal band of repeated simple leaf and stem motif, shapes filled with incised parallel lines, against background of stippled dots. Narrow borders either side, incised with short wavy vertical lines. Vase has been glazed first with bright yellow, then a red/brown glaze applied over it to give a deep red/orange colour with visible yellow around incised patterning.
