High Street, Greenwich
Summary
A view of the high street (Church Street, looking north, with Nelson Street (now Nelson Road) coming in on the right and Creek Road from the left in the distance below the ship's mast), Greenwich, which is busy with shoppers, and extends diagonally to the left distance. The various shops display their signage and awnings. Two horses and carts are travelling in the centre of the road. The street and buildings only occupy the bottom half of this painting, and the rest is sky.
