hat with round crown and medium brim, turned up at the front (typical Queen Mother style); entirely coverd in pastel floral printed silk chiffon in blues, mauves and yellow with swathed band round crown; mauve net to finish. (HMQM's outfit was made from this floral fabric) Black and white striped card box printed 'Rudolf'. Worn by HM The Queen Mother in 1996 to the wedding of Duke of York HRH Prince Andrew to Sarah Ferguson at St Paul's Cathedral Worn with an ostrich feather plume, later removed; hat returned to Rudolf after wedding by QM and offered for sale. Bought as a present for Mrs Audrey Jacobs to wear on her 70th birthday
