Summary

Dark bottle green superfine cloth coat with black velvet facing. Double breasted morning (tail) coat. Six pairs of brass buttons, brass shanks with the initials "H.B." in gothic script on a ground of horizontal line in a circle, surrounded by a band of textured brass. Coat cut in style of 1840's - 50's. Deep pockets of glazed cotton inside coat tails. Sleeves have slight elbow curve and turnback cuff. Sleeve lined in twilled ivory silk.
