Summary
Cream ground, printed in green with twelve circular reserves of engravings and a central cartouche. Around each engraving is a frame formed by the appropriate moral instructions. Reverse is plain cream paper. Leaf entitled : "The New Moralist fan, or the way to wealth" Lower edge printed : "Entered at Strangers Hall by the Proprietors, October 1796" Sticks are plain pine wood. Similar guards (no shouders. 5th stick damaged. Fixed metal rivet and ivory washers. Part of the Moorcroft donation and No. 117 in the Moorcroft Catalogue. Purchased by donor on 9.5.40 at Brighton.
