Summary
Deep 'flower pot' crown, concave at the top, curving down over the back of the head. Crown bound with black satin ribbon around the back and up the left side of the crown where it is wired into a bowl. There are astrakhan rosettes at the right hand side of the brim and the left front of the crown. Front has deep curving asymmetrical brim in peek-a-boo shape. Band of black silk inside. Black elastic.
