Public: Tea cup and saucer, hard paste porcelain, decorated with birds and clouds above altars, flaming hearts and flowers in enamel colours with gilt borders. Private: Tea cup and saucer, hard paste porcelain. Shallow cup tapering to narrow foot, with loop handle, a deep saucer both moulded on the inside with two bands of reeding. Painted in black, brown, blue, green, yellow, orange and puce enamel colours with pairs of birds, flying together in clouds above altars surmounted with two bleeding hearts. The altars inscribed, on the cup Ewige Liebe (eternal love) and on the saucer und Freundscahft (and friendship). Additional decoration of scattered flowers. Cup and saucer have festoon borders in gilt.
