Summary

Cream leatherette with printed cream glazed card front. Rectangular case folding in three and fastening with a gilt metal clip. Outside front, art nouveau pattern 'Needles' and a coloured print of an 18th century woman and child. Opens to reveal pale green paper lining, with three paper cases to hold bodkins, straws and sharps, and long needles for knitting cotton or silk. All are printed with a silver design. Some of the needles are still in place, but slightly rusty.
