Summary
Evening gown in white muslin, lavishly embroidered in India in spangles, metal thread and yellow silk. Long train attached to back of bodice. Full evening dress. Bodice is cut on the cross. Low straight neckline. CB opening with tie at neck and drawstring at waist. Short sleeves. Skirt flared to full width at hem. Slit in each side in seam below waist. Train attached at back, slightly longer at sides. Entire dress embroidered with sprigs, with leafy stem design round sleeve edges and meandering line round neck and sleeve edges. Sprays and stems tied with ribbon. Embroidered round hem of skirt and train. Above the meandering is embroidery is red silk, metal thread and spangles.
