Summary

Cotton tweed in small grey and black checks with broadly spaced red and yellow threads in double lines forming check pattern. Jacket : Lined with grey corded rayon. V neck with pointed turn-down collar. Pockets at waist each side. Elbow length sleeves. Broad, double band belt, seamed into pocket at front with grey buttons, extedning to side back and joined to CB by button. Large circular weights in hem at lower edge CF. Opening CF. Skirt : Waist edge turned back and bound. Zip on left. Pocket below waist each side CF. Worked thread loop at waist each side for belt (missing).
