Summary

A shallow, oblong box with concave sides, rounded base, plain mount and a hinged lid. Enamel on metal and painted in colours over a print in pink on the lid of two peasant women, one spinning the other riding side saddle on a donkey, in a reserve with a wavy outline on a dark blue ground. On the sides are four reserves with paintings of buildings and on the bottom is a similar subject, all within coloured scroll borders on a dark blue ground.
