Summary

Public: An oblong box with splayed sides, rounded base, deep chased mount and a hinged lid, enamel on metal and transfer printed on the lid with a small print of a landscape, the corners are filled with coloured panels with dots in scroll borders and the sides have similar panels at each corner and a flower at each centre and on the bottom. Private: An oblong box with splayed sides, rounded base, deep chased mount and a hinged lid. Enamel on metal and transfer printed on the lid with a small print in red of a landscape with a domed building and trees. The four corners of the lid are filled with rococo shaped panels of primrose dotted over in black, all in scroll borders of raised white enamel. There are similar primrose panels on the sides at each corner and in each centre and on the bottom of the box is a flower in violet.
