Summary

An oval box with slightly concave sides, round base, plain mount and a hinged lid with a mirror inside. Enamel on metal and transfer printed on the lid with a print in black with the inscription in the centre "The gift is small but love is all" surrounded by radiating lines within eight panels of pattern. The sides are painted with two sprays of flowers and two leaves on a white ground.
