snuff box

Summary

An oval box with fluted concave sides, rounded base, chased mount and a hinged lid. Enamel on metal and the lid in resposse radiating flutes from the centre. The lid is painted in the centre with a spray of flowers surrounded by smaller sprays and sprigs. The sides are painted with similar small sprays and sprigs of flowers at random all on a turquoise ground. There is a flower on the bottom of the box and inside the lid.
