Summary

Deep circular ink well with straight sides and sharply angled handle, convex upper surface with central inkhole and three pen holes around the side. Body decorated in metallic purple lustre, reserving three oval panels around the sides, two filled with landscapes of country houses in black enamel, one with a gilt monogram. Reserves, rims, pen and ink holes and handle all edged in gilt.
