Summary

An oblong box with splayed sides, rounded base, chased mount and a hinged lid. Enamel on metal and painted on the lid with a pastoral scene with a farmer, sheep and a cow in the foreground and in the distance a cottage and a castle, within a raised white enamel scroll border. Around the sides are four panels painted with sprays of flowers within similar borders, all on a light blue ground with dot and scroll decoration in white.
