Summary

Public: An oblong box with gadrooned sides, pinched in base and a deep silver mount and a lid, enamelled on silver and moulded in relief and painted on the lid with ducks on a pond surrounded by coloured scrolls, the sides are divided into fluted panels each of which is painted with a flower, on a white ground. Private: An oblong box with gadrooned sides swelling outwards towards the base and pinched in sharply at the bottom, with a deep silver mount and a lid. Enamelled on silver and moulded in relief and painted on the lid with a duck on a pond above which are two more ducks in flight surrounded by scrolls in blue, yellow and pink. The sides are divided by vertical flutes into panels, each of which is painted with a flower and the pinched base is surrounded by scrolls in blue, yellow and pink, all on a white ground. The bottom is painted with a spray of flowers.
