Public: An oblong box with double canted and fluted corners, rope detail mount and a hinged lid. Enamel on metal and painted on the lid with a landscape in an elaborate scroll border, the sides are painted with four panels of fishing and boating scenes in gilt scroll borders, all on a pink ground. Private: An oblong box with double canted and fluted corners, rope detail mount and a hinged lid. Enamel on metal and painted on the lid with a landscape depicting a shepardess reclining on a mound with a shepherd standing at her side, near them are a cow and some sheep, surrounded by elaborate raised scrollwork in blue and gold on a pink ground. Around the sides are four panels of fishing and boating scenes in gilt scroll borders. The corner fluting is divided by a raised cable pattern in gold and the pink ground is adorned with dots in gold and trellis pattern in white.
