Summary

An oval box with straight sides and a hinged lid with a mirror inside within a plain metal mount. Enamel on metal and painted on the lid with a scene of a white and brown dog looking out of a brick kennel, above which is flying a dove holding a red heart in its beak, whilst another dove sits to the right of the dog on a similar red heart, with trees in the background, surrounded by a red band around which is a border of red scallop pattern between which are blue shapes. The body of the box is pale turquoise.
