Summary

An oval box with straight sides, rounded base and a lid with a mirror inside hinged within a plain metal mount. Enamel on metal and painted on the lid in translucent colours over a transfer print in black with a scene of a set of railings between two buildings at the centre of which is a pedimented entrance which leads to a path lined by trees, at the bottom of which is a church, above is the inscription 'Cheltenham Wells'. The body of the box is green.
