Summary

A pointed oval shaped box with splayed sides and a lid with a mirror inside hinged within a plain brass mount. Enamel on metal and painted over a transfer print on the lid with a circular panel containing a female figure leaning on a monument inscribed at the base with 'FAITH' with foliage in the background, on a white ground and surrounded by a border in a pointed oval shape of green dots within red circles, on an apple green ground. The body of the box is apple green.
