Summary

An oval shaped box with straight sides, rounded base and a lid with a mirror (tarnished) inside hinged within a plain brass mount. Enamel on metal and painted on the lid with two coloured plumes and two fan shapes, one blue and white the other purple and white, separated into sections by lines of black dots. The sides are painted with two sprays of flowers. All decoration is direct on a yellow and orange mesh ground.
