Summary

Embroidered in coloured silks with felt applique on a dull blue felt ground. Oval shaped depciting a lady picking flowers. The lady is dressed in a gown with a handkerchief at the neck, a Shepherdess style hat and an apron that she has folded up to hold some of the flowers. The costume is appliqued felt, overembroidered in satin and straight stitches, whilst the ladies arms and head are of printed paper. Bushes and the ground are suggested by long staight stitches of coloured silk.
