Summary
Public: Model of a longcase clock. White earthenware with a decorated underglaze in cobalt blue, yellow ochre and yellow, with a pearlware glaze. Private: Two-part moulded longcase clock with arched rectangular head and wide foot. Front decorated with a yellow ochre wash with dark blue and bright yellow details, clock face and surround left white. Circular clock face set in rectangular surround with arched top containing daisy motif in cobalt blue. Impressed numbers picked out in brown, relief clock hands in bright yellow, reading twenty two minutes to twelve. Three pierced holes above and to sides of clock face, purpose unknown. Arched door panel edged in blue, foot panel decorated with four small daisies around central oval containing larger daisy in dark blue. Pearlware blue glaze, with reddish stain under the glaze on the back.
