Summary

An oval box with slightly concave sides, a plain brass mount and a lid hinged at the narrow end with a mirror inside. Enamel on metal and painted in colours on the lid with a landscape scene with two young women by the side of a lake, one in a white dress kneels to feed a swan and the other in a pink dress stands beside her holding a fishing rod. The body of the box is light blue.
