Summary

An oval box with concave sides and slight gadrooning round the base with a plain brass mount and a hinged lid with a mirror (cracked) inside. Enamel on metal and painted on the lid with an arrangement of military items (spears, flags and drums) and inscribed above and below with 'May British Valour Conquest gain and make our Foes our Friends again'. The sides of the box are light blue
