Summary
Public: Model of a longcase clock, white earthenware, decorated underglaze in dark yellow ochre, green, brown and cobalt blue, with a pearlware glaze. Private: Two-part moulded longcase clock with squared head and wide foot, white body with dark underglaze brown outline. Circular clock face set in squared surround, with relief-moulded border picked out in spots of brown and ochre. Impressed numbers and relief clock hands, both picked out in brown, reading ten past eleven. Centre of clock face painted with leafy stem in ochre, green and blue. Above clock face, head terminates in two rounded knops decorated with rough ochre hatching. Door and foot panels painted with leafy stems in ochre, green and blue, separated by a geometric patterned border in ochre and brown. Pearlware blue glaze.
