Summary

A box modelled as a head of a dog terminating at the ears in a circular brass mount with a hinged lid/base. Enamel on copper and painted in naturalistic colours of brown with white markings and exaggerated black rings round its eyes. The lid/base of the box is painted with a spray of flowers on a white ground.
