Summary

'New oval' shaped milk jug, white bone china with yellow staining around handle and shoulder, visible mould lines at lip and handle, and finely crazed glaze. High wide lip and high loop handle with outer spur at the top. Decorated on one side with stylised floral spray, comprising large flowerhead in red enamel with a figure of eight motif at it's centre, with metallic silver lustre stem and leaves, flanked by two simple five-petalled flowers in red and silver. Opposite side of jug plain but for two small silver and red sprigs. Simple border of alternating silver diamonds and red ovals round recessed neck, handle and neck rim edged in silver.
